The new output page provides faster loading; independent, collapsible frames for each output graph; and improved interactivity.

Caution: The new output page is in beta and undergoing active development. You might encounter bugs and limited functionality.

You can switch to the new output page from any Shoreline Design project with successful simulation runs by clicking on the Output tab and choosing Switch to beta dashboard.

You can switch back the old output page at any time using the same button.

What’s in the new output page

Only some output graphs and report and log downloads are supported in the new output page.

Key metrics

The Key metrics section provides an overview of essential information related to your simulations.

  • Summary
    • TBA loss (total)
    • PBA loss (total)
    • Total actual production
      • Calculation: Potential production - Lost production
      • Note: Potential production is calculated using the WTG power curve multiplied by the wind speed multiplied by the number of turbines. Therefore the calculation occurs at the WTG level rather than at the wind farm level, and does not account for any power loss between turbines and the substation.
    • Downtime
    • Gross capacity factor
    • Net capacity factor
  • Wind farms
    • PBA
    • PBA loss
    • TBA
    • TBA loss
  • Personnel utilization
  • Logistics utilization

For the calculations behind these metrics, see the O&M output report description page.

Reports and logs

From the new output page, you can download the following reports:

  • Output report (XLSX)

There are also several raw logs available for download:

  • Milestones log
  • Process cycles log
  • Transfer work order log
  • Visualization log
  • Work order status change timestamp

Logs will always be generated for the first run of the simulation.

Log filenames follow this structure: projectID_caseID_fileName_SimulationRunStartTime_RunID.csv (e.g., 232_3090_SomeLog_2024-04-15-0653_d29f9118-664a-45b3-abcf-a983711336e3-1.csv).

If a log is not available, the tooltip will tell you if your need to rerun your simulations or whether your case configuration doesn't allow for this log output.

How to use the new output page

The new output page includes some familiar features, as well as an expanding list of new tools.

Select a p value

You can select the relevant p value using the dropdown at the top of the page.

Interact with a graph

Collapse and expand

You can collapse and expand a graph using the `-` and `+` buttons at the top right corner.

Zoom and pan

On each graph, you can zoom using the icons that appear at the bottom right when you hover over the graph. Reset the zoom using the reset icon in the centre.

Pan a graph by clicking, holding, and dragging.

Toggle display items

You can use the graph legend to toggle which items are displayed on the graph.

Switch display modes

On some graphs, there is a radio button to switch between display modes.
